First Aid & CPR/AED Courses

This hands-on skills training prepares the lay responder to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults.

Infant and Child CPR
Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents and others who care for children, this course teaches the lay responder how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 12 years old.

With AED*: Length:  4 -1/2 hours. Course Fee: $40.00 Materials Included

Adult, Child& Infant CPR
Gives the lay responder the knowledge and skills to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults, children and infants. 
Length:  5 hours. Course Fee:  $45.00  Materials Included
With AED*: Length:  5 -1/2   hours. Course Fee: $50.00 Materials Included

*Adult or Child AED Training
This course takes the lay responder to the next level in preparing for cardiac emergencies. With hand-on training participants become familiar with the safe operation of an automated external defibrillator (AED). AED training can be added to any Adult or Child CPR course. 
Prerequisite (for stand alone course): Current Adult or Child CPR certification

First Aid 
Learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses, poisonings, and learn first aid for everything from cuts and scrapes to muscle, bone and joint injuries.

First Aid with  Adult CPR 
Learn the skills needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for     injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. This course covers first aid and adult CPR in an approach that complements adult learning styles, featuring hands-on practice and real-life scenarios. 
Length: 4 -1/2  hours. Course Fee: $40.00  Materials Included

First Aid with Adult, Child & Infant CPR  
The most comprehensive training course, this day–long session course teaches the lay responder first aid, adult, child & infant CPR. Learn how to recognize and care for life-threatening bleeding, sudden illness and injuries. 
Length: 7 -1/2  hours. Course Fee:  $55.00  Materials Included

Wilderness First Aid 
For those who work, live or play in remote areas – away from the usual EMS service. This 16 hour course deals with treating injuries as well as evaluating resources and decision making on evacuating or staying in  place with the injured. There are hands on classroom and outdoor activities. Approved by the American Camping Association and recommended by the Boys Scouts of America. No prerequisites required.

Pet First Aid 
Designed to protect both pet owners and their pets from further harm, injury, or suffering during emergencies by teaching prompt effective actions and care that will safeguard the life of an injured pet. 
Length:  4 hours. Cost:  $25.00  Materials Included

Bloodborne Pathogen Training: PDT 
A two-hour training module for individuals who, while on the job, may be exposed to blood or other body fluids that could cause infection. Course meets and exceeds OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogen training.
