Fundamentals of Instructor Training (required)
Introduces instructor candidates to policies and procedures of the American Red Cross, to ensure course consistency, quality and appropriate reporting.

Lay Responder First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor 
Learn how to train students from the 2005 First Aid Guidelines and Consensus on Science for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) in Adult, Child, and infant CPR as well as use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid. Candidates will learn presentation techniques, review course materials, evaluation methods and procedures for American Red Cross courses. 
 Prerequisites:  Individuals must be at least 16 years old; possess a Fundamental of Instructor Training (FIT) certificate issued within the past 12 months or current Red Cross instructor authorization. Participants must pass a pre-course written exam and demonstrate proficiency in First Aid/CPR and AED skills.
